09. Manage Shipping and Payment Methods

You can track shipping and payment methods using the appropriate screen:
Shipping Methods

Select the Shipping Methods from the Module List on the left-side of the Screen: The Shipping Method grid will be displayed. The purpose of this screen is to Add, Modify, Delete or Search for a Shipping Method.
  1. To Add a new shipping method, click the Add button (the button with the Plus sign on it). A popup will appear where you can enter a Shipping Method Name. Then press the OK button to save the record.


  2. To Modify an existing shipping method, select the record in the grid and press the Modify button (the button with the Pen on it). The Shipping Method popup will appear where you can modify the Shipping Method Name. Then press the OK button to save changes.


  3. To Delete a shipping method, select the record in the grid and press the Delete button (the button with the X on it). If the Shipping Method has dependencies, you will not be able to delete it. Otherwise, you will have to confirm and the record will be deleted.


  4. To Search for a shipping method, press the Find button (the button with the Magnifying Glass on it). The Search popup will appear where you can enter a criteria and press the Search button: If no criteria is entered, all the records will be returned. Select a record in the grid and press the OK button. Then, the Shipping Method grid will be populated with the new criteria and the selected record will be high-lighted. Any changes in the records will be reflected in the Shipping Method grid.

Payment Methods

Select the Payment Methods from the Module List on the left-side of the Screen: The Payment Method grid will be displayed. The purpose of this screen is to Add, Modify, Delete or Search for a Payment Method.
  1. To Add a new payment method, click the Add button (the button with the Plus sign on it). A popup will appear where you can enter a Payment Method Name. Then press the OK button to save the record.


  2. To Modify an existing payment method, select the record in the grid and press the Modify button (the button with the Pen on it). The Payment Method popup will appear where you can modify the Payment Method Name. Then press the OK button to save changes.


  3. To Delete a payment method, select the record in the grid and press the Delete button (the button with the X on it). If the Payment Method has dependencies, you will not be able to delete it. Otherwise, you will have to confirm and the record will be deleted.


  4. To Search for a payment method, press the Find button (the button with the Magnifying Glass on it).
